چکیده

In this paper, localizing a moving node in the context of underwater wireless sensor networks (UWSNs) is considered. Most existing algorithms have had designed to work with static networks. However, practical case, dynamic due relative motion between transmitter and receiver. The main idea record time arrival message (ToA) stamp estimating drift sampling frequency accordingly. It should be emphasized that, channel conditions such as multipath delay spread, ambient noise considered make system pragmatic. A joint prediction mobility speed are estimated based on offset estimation. This detected correlating an anticipated window orthogonal division multiplexing (OFDM) received packet. range distance mobile predicted from at packet reused position estimation algorithm. acoustic paper 8 paths maximum spread 48 ms simulate pragmatic case. performance evaluated by adopting different nodes speeds simulation two scenarios expansion compression. results show that proposed algorithm has stable profile presence severe conditions. Also, result shows can adopted 9 km/h case more than compression scenario. In addition, comparison triangular (DTN) presented order evaluate system.

Autonomous Under Water Sensor Networks UWSNs form distributed amorphous computing environments. This emerging technology will pay off the need of conventional large, expensive, individual Ocean monitoring equipment. Efficient resolution for an unreachable UWSN which includes failureprone nodes will require strategies that are as simple as possible in computations and local communications, to fa...
متن کاملPoster Abstract: Scalable Localization with Mobility Prediction for Underwater Sensor Networks
Localization of mobile sensor nodes is indispensable for underwater sensor networks. For example, in aquatic environment monitoring applications, localization is a must-do task in order to get useful location-aware data. Location information is also required for geo-routing, which is proved to be more scalable and efficient in mobile underwater sensor networks. So far, only a limited number of ...

متن کاملMap Building and Localization for Underwater Navigation
A framework for underwater navigation by combining raw information from different sensors into a single scene description is presented. It is shown that features extracted from such a description are more robust than those extracted from an individual sensor. These descriptions are then combined from many consecutive scenes to form the basis of a new method of map building and representation as...
